The community of l`Arche Tecklenburg gets state funds for the care of people with intellectual disabilities. The amount of money is calculated by reference to the needs of one person. Due to these funds, we engage assistants, pay daily needs, general maintenance and repair of the houses.
Nevertheless, since we do not act in the sense of just means, but the heart of l`Arche is the common life, we have many events and needs, which could be materialized only by donations. Some times we need money to finance retreats for our coremembers (people with disabilities) or for the meeting, which will strength our community life, or to perform necessary construction. In l`Arche Tecklenburg volunteers from all over the world are working there and often it is necessary to pay for a language course to improve their German language. These are just some examples why we need donators to keep up our daily life as a community.

Another way to participate in our life is to become a member of our support team. By paying the annual membership fee of € 50 for one person, € 75 for married couples or 25 € for students, you join the club l`Arche Tecklenburg, helping to build the ecumenical community. You will be invited for the community events.
